I remember.

Today it’s raining. I´m sitting in the log cabin in front of the open fire and remembering canoe tours in Nordmarken and Sweden and a few tours in Canada and Alaska. The photo is from a friend and I got it last year. The canoes are Macfie canoes built of Harry Macfie the one who introduce canoe in Sweden about 1930. In the family we do have four of these fine canoes, but they have to wait on the rack until ice gone. You see canoeing is not a matter of transportation on water it a life style and when you are paddling in remote areas you come closer to nature and yourself. So now my mind is going up in the chimney with the smoke from the fire and travel over the area and looking up all good campsites and adventure the gone years. I hope winter will come back in a few days.
